1.   When and where will ACWA's 2026 Spring Conference be?

The ACWA 2026 Spring Conference will take place in Sacramento, CA from May 5-7, 2026 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center, the Hyatt Regency Sacramento and the Sheraton Grand Sacramento.

2.   Does ACWA offer a hotel block?

ACWA secures a courtesy hotel block to offer registered conference attendees hotel rooms at a discounted group rate. For the ACWA 2026 Spring Conference, ACWA negotiated with the Hyatt Regency Sacramento and the Sheraton Grand Sacramento for the largest hotel room block possible at the rate of $249/night + taxes and fees at the Hyatt Regency and $234/night + taxes and fees at the Sheraton Grand.

Conference registration is required to obtain hotel reservation information.


3.   What is the cancellation policy?

The cancellation deadline is April 21, 2026 at 4:30 pm (PT). All registration changes and cancellations must be made in writing by the event registration deadline. 

Valid cancellation requests received between February 4 - April 3 will receive a refund of any registration fees paid minus a $75 administrative processing charge. 

Valid cancellation requests between April 4 - 21 will receive a 50% refund of any registration fees paid. 

No refunds will be granted after the registration deadline of April 21. Submit requests in writing to Teresa Taylor at TeresaT@acwa.com.

7.   What meals are included in my registration?

A full-conference registration pass includes access to all networking meal functions, snack stations, keynote sessions, conference programs, the Exhibit Hall, ACWA-hosted receptions, and designated on-demand conference recordings.

One-day passes include all meals and activities listed above for the selected day only.

Because of the all-inclusive registration model, anyone with a valid conference badge may join any ACWA meal function or snack station—no separate meal tickets are required.


8.   What is the fraudulent housing alert?

Please be advised that potential fraudulent entities are contacting ACWA members, associates, affiliates and exhibitors implying that they have been contracted by ACWA to handle all attendee and exhibitor housing. ACWA has NOT contracted with any housing company and any information provided to them may be used for fraudulent purposes. Please only book your hotel through the ACWA reservation link provided in your registration confirmation.


9.   I received an email claiming to have an attendee list for sale. Is ACWA selling attendee information?

Please be advised that potential fraudulent entities are contacting ACWA members, associates, affiliates and exhibitors implying that they have attendee lists available for purchase. 

ACWA does not sell member or conference registrant contact information. Conference sponsors and exhibitors will receive a list of attendee names with mailing address and phone number but we do not share email addresses or any other personal information. Any emails claiming otherwise are a scam and any information provided to them may be used for fraudulent purposes.


10.   How do I register for the ACWA JPIA Membership Summit?

While ACWA's conferences are held concurrently with the ACWA JPIA Membership Summit, they are separate events. For more information about the ACWA JPIA Membership Summit, including registration details, please go to the event website or contact Laura Davis at ldavis@acwajpia.com.
